We stayed in a wonderful Pool Villa. Completely private with a view. The staff is very attentive but the public areas need a little upgrade. We would gladly stay there again. |

Perfect location. yet in the tranquillity of pady fields. Perfect services, especially with children Good spa. Food is great Just perfect for 3,4 days getaway thanks ps: we were upgraded to a villa garden...so that makes the experience all the more positive...few units were being refurbished while we were there, but did not bother at all. |

We stayed at Kamandalu Resort and Spa for 2 nights. We booked a Deluxe Pool Villa, it's a gorgeous place! The hotel has a beautiful location, you can swim in your private pool and enjoy a jungle view. I would certainly recommend it for a romantic holiday. |

The villa was very comfortable and the staff were very accommodating, allowing us to use the showers in the spa as we had a very late flight out on our last day. The bed was turned down every night with chocolates and a sweet message. Free shuttles into Ubud village which was great. Staff numbers were a little slim at times however they were all very friendly. Food was great. Highly recommend as a way to have a relaxing finish to a holiday. |

We stayed in the deluxe pool villa & it was an absolutely gorgeous room!. The breakfast could be improved, just by adding some cheese, ham and salami (for people that do not enjoy hot meals in the morning.) The boiling coffee is really terrible! They should invest in a good coffee machine then the resort would be "perfect". |

The accommodation is certainly comfortable but by no means 5 star. Its in need of an update. Don't expect to be surrounded by rice paddies in your villa, we didn't see a rice paddy at our villa. The only time was when we arrived and departed the resort there was one located near the entrance. The resort is about 5 kms from Ubud which can be a little problematic as the shuttle bus doesn't run over lunch or dinner times. The best part was the pool and sun lounges, which were really lovely, with good pool temp and a lovely bar to swim up to. |

The grounds overlooking the small rice paddy add to the tranquility of the resort. We were there during low season-a big plus, The staff were very attentive and helpful, food was good in the large dining room, but you could also dine by the pool. Our room was clean, comfortable and had a lovely outdoor shower as well as an outdoor bali bed~great for morning reading. Went in the pool only once, a bit warm and over-chlorinated for my taste and there was a swim up bar. |

Would highly recommend this villa resort. Staff extremely friendly and attentive, location within 5 minutes drive of central Ubud, room large and luxurious with outdoor power shower and very peaceful, restaurant delicious well priced food. Excellent for couples- very romantic resort. Swim up pool and poolside loungers very relaxing. Definitely worthy of its 5* status. I hope to return in the future. |
